My Annual Shoot with Kanga’s Family

Every year since 2014 I’ve been lucky enough to photograph a pet family in Daly City that I’ve come to know from my rescue work. They adopted Kanga Roo, which I photographed as a kitten, and have since adopted another cat named Hector, and also foster kittens for Saving Grace as well. They also have two sweet flat coat retrievers named Brandon and Brownie, so every years we photograph the cats first, then the pups. This year we did the cats in their home like we always do (along with their foster kitten Pippy), and then we headed to Crissy Field to photograph the dogs. It was a bit overcast, and Brandon was dealing with an injury at the time, but we still got some amazing photos. I am already counting the days until next year’s shoot!

What a lovely family. The grey tabby is just like my Spike though a little chunkier. You have such a talent to be able to not only make furbabies look beautiful – because they always do – but to bring out their personalities.
