Senior kitty Badger and her loving owner

A lot of times when I do photo sessions the human owners do not want to be in the pictures, but just want me to, pardon the pun, focus on the pet. Recently though I got an email from a sweet woman who specifically wanted photos taken of her and her cat! She adopted the kitty, who is named Badger, six years ago as an adult, and wanted to make sure she had photos of the two of them together before it was too late. We booked the shoot, and I was excited to meet them as she obviously loved her cat very much, and her cat sounded like she was very special too.

We took a lot of photos of the two of them together, and she even wore a special outfit from Burning Man, which was awesome. We finished with a bag of catnip, which Badger “accidentally” tore open and got all over herself. It was the perfect end to an amazing shoot!
