Cleo the amazing Labradoodle

Recently I was contacted by a lovely woman looking to do a shoot with her puppy Cleo, short for Cleopatra. She said Cleo was 10 months old and just a happy dog that loves everyone. We agreed to do the shoot at Fort Funston, which is one of my very favorite places to shoot due to the awesome backdrops, gorgeous light, and because dogs are usually off-leash!

We started the shoot with a little bit of action, then she posed for some beautiful portraits in the shade, which I absolutely love. We then wandered down to the beach as the sun started to droop in the sky, and let her run around in the ocean for a bit. We stayed all the way until sunset, and I ended up taking 1,400 images in total. It was a fantastic shoot, and not only was Cleo a superb model but her dog moms were just as awesome. It was a fantastic time, and I had to pinch myself in the middle of it. It’s shoots like this that remind me how much I love dog photography!!
